AISC's popular Design Guide 1, Base Connection Design for Steel Structures has been updated to its third edition and has a broader scope than ever before. Included in this session will be a review of the latest version, new data about seismic response of base connections, recommended improved design processes, the development of models for analysis, and an examination of other deficiencies.
