This session will introduce the basics of reinforcing existing steel connections and provide examples, offering actionable insights that can help you the next time you need to strengthen an existing steel connection. Information will be provided on replacing rivets with bolts, stiffening moment connections, adding weld, stiffeners, and seated connections, and shoring.
