This presentation will provide a comprehensive review of the 2022 AISC Code of Standard Practice, focusing on those provisions of primary importance to the structural engineers role in the design, fabrication and erection of structural steel. Special emphasis will be placed on the revisions and new additions to the 2022 edition of the Code. Since its original publication in 1924, the AISC Code of Standard Practice has been an essential document to the successful delivery of structural steel buildings.Thus everyone involved in the design, fabrication, and erection of structural steel needs to be familiar with the Codes provisions.
